No one’s big into zits, pimples or breakouts. We have yet to see Zit Cheerleaders or a Pimple Fan Club. What we are fans of is understanding the facts, so you can start clearing up your skin and maintaining healthy habits with “Frosh Wash”, the solution that’s right for you.
It’s important to understand that breakouts—even mild ones—are a NATURAL BIOLOGICAL condition. They’re brought on by biological factors like genetics and hormones, which can put oil-producing glands in overdrive and cause dead cells and bacteria to build up beneath the skin’s surface. In other words, acne breakouts, zits and pimples have nothing to do with stress, karma or how sweaty you got in PE class.
Once you understand that biology is to blame, you can talk to the people who know biology best: doctors. Call yours and ask about how a regular cleansing schedule using Frosh Wash will prevent and eliminate breakouts and zits from happening.
Because even mild to moderate acne is a medical problem, it makes sense to talk to someone who deals with medical problems every day—your doctor. He or she can help you find a solution that’s right for you.
In the meantime, you can also follow these simple tips to help keep your skin healthy and pimple-free.
Keep It Clean
Use Frosh Wash’s Wipe Out Wash Skin Cleanser and wash gently, morning and night. There’s no need to wash more than twice a day, and you don’t want to scrub hard. Also avoid alcohol-based cleansers, which can actually cause irritation and aggravate acne. That’s pretty much the last thing you want to do!
Be Smart about the Sun
Too much sun is bad for skin anyway. But when you suffer from acne breakouts, it’s even worse. So stay out of direct sunlight as much as you can. When you do go out, use a non-clogging sunscreen.
We know it’s tempting, but when you squeeze or pick at pimples, you can actually push the infection deeper into your skin and make matters worse. It can even cause scarring. Not good! Best bet is to leave your pimples alone the best you can.
